I was put on a heart monitor which caught my heart in an afib episode it wouldn't come out of, so I was told to go to the ER. 5 days later I was told I have Afib, POTS and will likely need a pacemaker. I've always been active. I'm almost 50 and otherwise healthy. Anyone else going through this? it's scary and exhausting

I would not trust the ER heart diagnosis from personal experience.  I suggest getting a second opinion from an electrophysiologist.
