I am a 32 year old female. I donated a kidney in 2004, so have been through extensive general well being testing. I have had tachycardia since before that donation. In fact, during recovery, they would not allow me out (despite a few different medications tried with no success) until I came around enogh to tell them it was "normal" for me. My resting heart rate has never been below 100 when taken. Recently, it was as high as 140. I had an EKG and Echo done last week. I'm not sure about the EKG, but the Echo showed atrial hypokinesis that the cardiologist wants to investigate further. My questions - what cases/can cause atrial hypokinesis, and could it be related to the tachycardia? I really didn't find a lot helpful on the internet. Thank you.
