I have a similar problem. I started taking antibiotics for my sinus infections. There is the possibility that the constant infections and inflammation are not good for the heart. I am not sure what the mechanics are but I have vowed to fight these infections when they start and not wait. If there is any connection I think it would be with this and not the deviated septum itself.
They really do not seem to know what causes these arythmias. There seem to be many possible triggers. So far, all that can be done is to get rid of the symptoms.
Take care

.
Chronic Sinusitus & frequent infections.
Have to sleep on my right side only or I cannot breathe.
Hum, makes me wonder, and I think I'll discuss with my doctors. I have an annual physical coming up, and am checked by my cardiologist every 6 months even if all seems well.
I suffer from permanent AFib, a different situation but, I also suffer from nasal congestion problems. My AFib is long standing and is related to an enlarged left atrium and age.... but the nasal breathing problem may aggravate my condition. I notice the most trouble with stuffiness at night when doing a lot of sitting and when sleeping if my dry mouth is any indication of how I am forced to breath during sleep. Perhaps getting better control of my sinus problems will reduce my AFib - and I don't know what it is doing most of the time as I am "blessed" with mostly no symptoms other than an irregular heart beat.
Do you get many sinus infections?
