Chest Pain Extending to Back

I have had chest pain since my ablation and now the pain is extending through my chest to my back. Any ideas on what could be causing this pain? My ablation was 3 months ago and I have had my rhythm under control, but now am experiencing the chest pain.

The symptoms you describe could be pulmonary vein stenosis from ablation catheter burning too deep into the PVs.  Tell him you are concerned about that and that you want to screened for that with CT or MRI.  Hopefully, that is not what you have but the fact that it happening 3 months after the ablation indicates this is a possibility.

I had an AF Ablation and have had two follow-ups with my Dr.  He's not saying much, which concerns me, albeit he's not overly concerned..  He's only stated that, "you are someone that we'll have to watch more closely."  Thank you.

Sorry to hear that is happening to you so long after the ablation.  What type of ablation did you get (SVT, AF, etc..) and what follow ups have you done with the electrophysiologist that did the ablation?
