hope you are feeling better. You are young. I think you are going to be ok. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you very much for the reassurance. I have also found out that drinking fluids helps the symptoms better.
Hi Younghat,
It's GREAT that the echocardiogram and stress test results are normal!! Awesome news!!
As for the discomfort being attributed to hormones, I suppose it's possible. Hormones seems to play a part in a LOT of things. Maybe a visit to your family doctor/pediatrician would be helpful at this point. Since you know it is not cardiac in nature, your regular doctor may be able to offer potential solutions/suggestions for the symptoms.
You're welcome. Please be sure to stop back and let us know how you're doing.
Thank you for your reply, My pediatric cardiologist gave me a test where i was on a treadmill and monitored my heart rate and blood pressure. He also gave me an ultrasound on my chest to see the size of my heart. He said it was all normal and that it had something to do with hormones. He said people some people my age go through this. Is the valid? Is there a name for this? Is there anything I can do to make it better or more manageable? Please let me know and again thank you for your reply.
Hi Younghat,
Sorry you are having chest pain and shortness of breath. Did the doctor order any tests? Was he/she able to make a determination by physical examination only? If you are still experiencing discomfort, have your parents or guardians make an appointment with your regular doctor. Please let us know how you're doing.
