Counts with no sound, etc

I've only had my event monitor on for 24 hours or so, and it has already counted four events.  I think one happened when I accidentally hit the button getting dressed, the others I had no idea of.  Felt nothing, heard nothing from the monitor.  Should I be hearing something when it is recording? Two happened while I was exercising, I am hoping just high HR.  Getting a bit freaked that this is recording things I am unaware of, and also that I am unaware when it is.  Just see number counting down.  Too late to call it in tonight, will do so in the am.  Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

It sure is!  I was dutifully wearing my recorder when I had the first of three SVT events in the month long period.  It was around 10PM.  I got the SVT stopped and called the lab and downloaded the recording.  I told the alarmed tech that I was back in normal sinus rhythm, but she forced me under threats of having the local rescue squad called out to my house to make a 3 minute manually recording and play it back to make sure that what I was claiming was in fact true.  after hanging up with her, about 20 minutes later, my cardiologist called to make sure I was OK, and had me come in the next day to see him.  To me, this was "normal" life.  To them, it was quite startling and somewhat of an emergency.  That's why it's important to have a lab that monitors 24/7.  Good luck with your recorder.

That's the info I have. I'm calling first thing in the morning to get a better answer as that seems crazy to me as well. 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday,  ridiculous right?

Whoa!... Your lab isn't available 24/7 to receive a download from your recorder?  What if it were a dangerous arrhythmia?  Are you sure about that?
