Dizziness and Weak Voice

Hi,

I have arrhythmias, but nothing too serious. Something new cropped up a while back, and I want opinions on what could be the cause.

I suddenly get dizzy for several hours to several days. When I get dizzy, I can feel a slight pressure in my chest, and my  voice gets weak. I can be sitting and talking, and my voice will suddenly become weak, and I get dizzy. My legs also feel a little weak while this is going on, but no swelling.

When this happens, I notice no unusual or increased PVC's. My BP and HR are usually very good. Recent echo was good, with 65% EF. I am on no meds.  I am male, 60, 5'10 185.

My Cardio doc don't want to discuss it, apparently feels it's not heart related. That may be true, but I do feel pressure in my chest.

Thanks for the reply.

I've has 2 or 3 physicals in the last 3 years. All OK except for arrhythmias.

Blood pressure was high for years when my heart rate was in the 70's and 80's, now it's OK. Don't have to take beta blockers any more. With beta blockers, my BP started going too low.

It's frustrating the doctors don't take my faint feeling seriously. It's absolutely ruining my quality of life, and I can't help but think there is an underlying cause. Seems to me that weakness, chest pressure, and weak voice coming and going together should be easy to diagnose!

As I read I thought BP too low, or heart problem that caused low pumping efficiency... seems not.

Have you had a full physical exam lately?  I believe ear problems can cause balance/dizziness problems.  Have you ever been checked by a (any type) doctor when you were suffering the described symptoms?

Can't help much other than to say your cardiologist may be right.
