....did you guys first have a-flutter, then later you developed a-fib? Or did you just suddenly get a-fib?

I'm just wondering...because I had typical a-flutter ablated and the told me there was a risk of eventually getting a-fib.

I had both a-fib and a-flutter. I developed a-fib first, than about 2 years later  the a-flutter kicked in.

I developed AF somewhat suddenly, but it was also during my first real bouts with panic disorder.  Real ugly scenario.  I have AF, A flutter, PVCs and SVT (rapid AF, tach of 240 bpm).  Thankfully, all is under control with meds except for the occasional "flop and flutter" during periods of PMS, lack of sleep or stress.  Good luck, Amy
