Exercise isn't the cure, to re-establish electrical pathways, for everyone. I know from my own experience. I've run about 80,000 documented miles since I was in my teens and cycled about 150,000 miles. I've had a resting heart rate of 48-50 bpm since I was a teen and never weighed more than 170 in my life, (6'1" height) and almost 60 years old now. Most of my life, I've weighed 150-160 lbs and have always been very fit. A recently successful ablation procedure is the only thing that ended my SVT events which have plagued me since birth.
"....and should re-establish your electrical pathways...."
Please reference a couple of authoritative sources that will corroborate this statement.
Start swimming laps at the same time every day, or second day, which will strengthen and tone your heart muscles and should re-establish your electrical pathways which should reduce and then stop future episodes of pre-mature beats.
Many of the posters on this board have the same symptoms you speak of and are completely healthy with no issues. So, you almost certainly have nothing to worry about. As heartflutters mentioned though, it is best to get checked out just to make sure your heart structure is normal.
Your symptoms are consistent with textbook premature beats. With premature beats, generally the only thing to manage is the anxiety associated with them since they pose no true health risk in a normal heart.
Have you made a drs appt to get checked out, how you feel today
Hi and thank you for your reply.
No, I have never had either test and this is something new added to the heart pain, it's been happening off and on for the past few months but getting more frequent lately. I will be sure to mention this to my doctor.
Have you had stress test and echo of heart
I would say no worries if you have had this before, and if dr says heart good, I to have the skips, flutters and it's very scary
My sister has the pain with hers as you are, but always be safe and have a cardio check your heart if it's different than you have had before ,
