Heart Rate Increases when exercise Stops

I have been recently diagnosed with supraventricular ectopic beats.  I have been exercising a lot more frequently since then because I have heard that it can reduce my symptoms.  The other day I was jogging for 10 minutes and I was checking my pulse while jogging.  I noticed that the MOMENT I stopped my BP seemed to go up a little bit and my heart rate increased (maybe by about 20 or 30 bpm).  My heart rate gradually began to slow and was noticeably slower after about 30 seconds.  I also felt like I was getting an ectopic beat every other beat for about a minute and then every second beat, every third and so on.  My heart rate seemed to be normal again after about 6 minutes.

Does anyone else have PVC/PACs with this frequency directly after exercise?  Is it normal for my heart rate to increase like this the moment I stop jogging?  Thanks

The holter report said that I had 94 episodes of supraventricular ectopy (over 48 hours).  So I think that means I have PACs?  I felt that when I had the monitor on those were a couple of my "good" days (not many skipped beats).  I exercised a little bit when I had the monitor on and I felt a skipped beats while cooling down from exercise.  is it normal to get them every couple / every other / every 10th beat for a few minutes after exercise?  The cardiologist didn't recommend that I take a stress test. I also had an echo and he said my heart looked normal.

You didn't say if those post-exercise ectopic beats were diagnosed as PAC or PVC.  Have you ever had a stress test done?

As for the heart rate going up after exercise - I get that, too.  No matter how much cooldown time I have, like on a treadmill, when I step off the treadmill my heart rate goes up between 10-20bpm, stays there for 30 seconds, then goes back down.  Strange, but doesn't seem to bother me.
