Thanks so much for your kind reply! Now that I have found this site I will continue to connect with it. After reading some of the recent entries I know it is the place I should be..those with the heart problems seem to be the most loving nuturing people around! Thanks again for your warm response. Merry Christmas! Liz
Hello...
Having 15-20 skipped beats a day is a very low number. Believe it or not, there are people who experience thousands a day.
SInce you've been through a Stress Echo,Holter, EKG, Echo all which have shown a healthy heart...throw in the normal cholesterol level and normal BP, I think that the likelihood of something having been missed is probably very low.
If you have no other risk factors that would predispose you to developing heart disease I do not think you should worry about this or think that what happend to your mom's friend is happening to you. Your skipped beats are most likely benign PAC's (premature atrial contractions) or PVC's (premature ventricular contractions). It may help for you to keep a journal or even use the heart rhythm tracker here to see if there is anything you can associate as potential triggers to these skipped beats.
Please try to relax and enjoy your holidays knowing that you will be fine.
Good luck and check back to let us know how you are doing:)
