Heart rate will not fall below 90

I’m so scared and I don’t know what’s going on. For the past 4 days my anxiety has been through the roof. I suffer from health anxiety so I’m always obsessing over health related things. Lately it’s been my heart. I do take sertraline for my anxiety it’s only 25mg and it’s no longer helping. Even the slightest movement makes my heart race. I’ve never passed out and I don’t get shaky or confused it’s just the high heart rate that’s scaring me. Makes me think that my heart won’t be able to take too much more. I’ve been in the hospital twice for this and They’ve done all the tests and found nothing wrong. I’m worried they are missing something. The only thing I’ve never had to do is wear one of those monitors but that may be the next option. It’s so hard to calm myself down. The heart rate stays up for hours and I mean HOURS almost all day into the night and even when I’m sleep. I’m just so scared. Has anyone every experienced this? My period is also a week late so I’ve been stressing about that but I’m definitely not pregnant

Are you seeing a regular doctor or have you just made it to the hospital?  It sounds like you might need to attack this from an anxiety standpoint, more so than be checking your heart for issues- if you are in contact with the doctor that prescribed you the anxiety medication before, give them a call and talk to them about this.  Feel better!
