I'm a 28 year old female, who happens to be very overweight. Recently, I've had some strange health symptoms, such as random swelling of limbs, which prompted me to go to the emergency room and eventually a cardiologist and get a lot of tests done. All my blood work, echo, ekg, doppler ultra sounds of basically my whole body came back clean and normal. (Echo and ekg, during both tests, I started out with high heart rate, in the 100s, but eventually it settled in 80s) However, I have crazy, random arrhytmia, which makes my heart go up to 150bpm sometimes. Nothing specific seems to trigger them, just frantically pounding heart and fast heartbeats! My normal resting heart rate is between 80-100bpm. None of the doctors seemed to be particularly concerned about this, but it freaks me out. It feels my heart is going to jump off my chest! Should I just let it go? Should I insist for more detailed testing? I'd appreciate input!
