Heart stents and living in high altituide

We are planning on moving from sea level altitude to 6,500 ft. in altitude.  Will my husband have a problem since he has 2 stents and takes Atenolol and Detrol LA?

I live at near 6000 feet and hike at altitudes up to 11000 feet.  While I don't have sents, I do have diagnosed  40-70% blockages in two arteries.  There are plenty of people living at these altitudes with stents.  It may take a few days to become adjusted to the new elevation, but I don't think there is any reason for concern.

I'm not sure, but have you (or has he) checked with his cardiologist?  If so, what does he/she say?  Hope the move goes well and you enjoy your new home!
