Heavy Constant Heartbeat

I have very heavy heart beat all the time.  I have constant headaches that is the same throbbing and pounding of my heart.  My blood pressure is alway normal around 130/85 and pulse rate is 67.  I have had the heavy heart beat for 2 years.  I excerise, average weight, eat healthy diet, don't drink or smoke.  Does any one know why I had the heavy constant heart beat with the headaches?

You should see a doctor to rule out any serious cardiac problem. The symptoms you mentioned could be due to many things as Cindy said, so, it is best to pin point the problem and then work on that.

Your vitals are good, especially the resting heart rate. For me, I would like to see the blood pressure a little lower however, say 120/70. The bottom number, 85, is too high for my liking, but, that is just my opinion. It is probably due to the stress you are going through worrying about the hard heart beats.

Have you thought about seeing a chiropractor? If the problem is due to pinched nerves, they can easily work on that and you will feel better in no time.

Good luck and keep us posted.

You should see a doctor about this.  I agree with Cindy, this could be heart related, or something totally different.  There's lots of stuff it could be, so you probably need a doc to help you sort it out. They could give you an EKG or an Echo, both of which could reveal some information about your heart.

I am sorry you have a headache.  I rarely get headaches, but when I drink too much coffee, I sometimes get a mild migraine. No fun. It really  puts me down. In the past I have had a heavy heart beat too.  This was something that occurred for a period of time after I had an ablation and that I had an opportunity to worry about. Do you know what precipitated this?

It could be anything from a pinched nerve all the way to mitral valve prolapse which believe it or not 30% of the population has it.  Pinched nerves are notorious for causing head aches and a feeling of your heart poounding.  If it keeps up tho and is making your uncomfortable make and appt. w. your family doc to have it checked out. The great news is that your vitals are fantastic.....
