Help With Flutter That Takes Breath Away

Hi I have posted on this before. I have a fluttering sensaion once every week or two some times every couple of days.It flutters below the sternum and takes my breath away for a second or two. i have had a echocardiogram and my heart is structually normal. also i have had a thiroid test and also3 blood tests and 4 E.C.G's nothig has been picked up on any of these. I got told by my doc these are ectopic heart beats is this true, because some plant pot told me it could be sudden death syndrome because i have gone light heded a couple of times with it. Any ideas. i am 23 male moke. cut out most cAFFINE allways played sports.

I can certainly relate to all- For the past two weeks now I have been experiencing these heart flutters and they are more frequent everyday. I am scheduled to have the 48 hour halter on Tuesday 6 days from now and I'm really concerned.  I have Thyroid Disease and I feel I'm being brushed off by my doctors- I do believe each person knows when their body is not well. Frustrated!

I constantly have this flutter in my throat, it sometimes seems to go bang and I loose my breath for a few seconds. Im always checking my pulse and cant feel anything skipping. Should I be worried about this. Silly question of course im worried its driving me in sane . Any help would be great

The first time it happened was november last year I was standing in the kitchen and I got a flutter below my sternum and I went light headed and eyes blacked out slightly but I did not faint. Since I have had the flutter with out the dizzieness just a gasp when I get them and a rush of warmth. No they have never caught a ectopic on a ecg but sometimes I have felt a thud

Yeah,i think its very important that if your echo is normal then the risk of deadly rhythm are less possible.Try to ask for a 24 hour holter test,see if they can catch your pvc or pac during that time,i did my 24 hr twice i think both are clean suprisingly no pvc at all,just sinus tachycardia recorded and it sounds right as i was having anxiety all the time when my heart rate increases.I also get lightheaded most of the time when having high anxiety level,it is horrible but i have done all possible cardiac testing,echo,stresstest,ecgs,tilt table test,24 hour holter and blood test and they cant find anything wrong but Sinus tachycardia.

you can't drop dead with a structually normal heart, i think that person meant you might have ventricular fibrillation and if that were true im talking to a ghost.
everyone has a flutter now n then so don't worry, it will be anxiety and worry making you lightheaded.
it may be a muscle twitch we all get these, i get them in my chest and think its my heart when it isnt, next time you get a flutter check your pulse and thats how you'll know is its muscle or not.
pacs and pvcs feel like a thud in the chest and the heart pauses a sec or two but seems like forever, do you get that?
you've had a few tests,  if you aren't satisfied ask for holter monitor for a week, id be happy with the results now, i suffer from pvcs they're horrid, i get one and im walking on eggshells all day, worrying makes them worse.
an ectopic beat is normal fit young healthy people get these and can't get rid of them only by ignoring them, your doctor must have picked up you have ectopic beats through the ecg these are normal just dont worry
who told you its scd?
