High Resting Heart Rate- really high aerobic heart rate

Hi,
I'm only a 23 year old female but my resting heart rate when I get up in the morning is over 120.  I also do aerobic exercise daily but it doesn't seem to get any lower.  Worse, if I'm not careful when exercising I easily spike above 175 and usually above 185.  Just walking seems to get me up to the 150s.  This doesn't seem normal and I often feel sick after working out.  Is there anything I should be worried about?

Sounds like you might be working out too much.  Do you ever take a day off?  That high resting heart rate may indicate overtraining.  Also, how's your weight?  There could be other things going on to.  Have you had any blood work done.  Could you be anemic?  Hope things work out.

The rate is too high in my "book".  Even at your young age aerobic exercise that puts your heart in the range of 185 is pushing it, maybe too much.

You didn't mention any rhythm irregularity, nor what you HR history is, i.e., was it at 60 in past years when at rest?  Or, has your HR always be in the 100 range at rest?
