How do I know who is right?

I have Left Branch Bundle Block, have been told several times I cannot take Beta Blockers because of it.  My cardiologist (a very reputable cardiologist) has prescribed Metoprolol.   I questioned this and he said because it's low dose it's ok.  I feel uneasy about taking it but don't want to be labeled a "non-compliant" patient.  Was recently prescribed another med for AFIB by cardiologist, but when I later saw a cardiac Electrophysiologist he said none of the many tests I've had indicate AFIB.   How do we know who knows what???
