Sorry, my computer is going crazy for some reason. As I was saying before, if you start feeling dizzy or pass out, or they are lasting a long, long time, I'd be concerned. but if you are just feeling skips and thuds occasionally I'd guess you are going to be okay.
They sound like PVCs which, at that low frequency, are of no concern. I get those too and they scare me. I saw a heart rhythm specialist yesterday at one of the best hosptials in the world - he told me he gets over 400 PVCs daily. Some people feel them, some do not, but 90% of the population experiences these arrhythmias (most do not feel them). He said the reason some do feel them is just because their bodies are more sensitive, but that they are nothing to worry about.

hi,
from what you are describing, it sounds like these are either PVCs or PACs. If you are experiencing them 3-4 times a week with no other symptoms, they are probably benign. Skipped beats are very common, but I can see how they would make you nervous, they can feel uncomfortable.
if they continue or become more frequent, you could contact your PCP who may be able to make a recommendation as to whether or not you should see a cardiologist...
good luck
