I am a 35 y/o woman with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, among other issues. Ever since I was on a pain med called Nucynta 2 years ago, I've had issues with heart fluttering and rapid heart rate, but my docs can't find anything wrong. I've had a 24 hour holter monitor test that was said to be fine (although I saw where my heart had races up to 135 bpm while I was resting, and dipped to 40 bpm while sleeping). I was in the ER this morning and all tests were "normal," no blood clots...but they did say my resting heart rate was running around 100 bpm and my blood pressure was low, staying around 93/55 to 101/65. EKG was normal, CT of chest was normal, x-ray was normal. They gave a bad of IV fluids and sent me home. As soon as I got home and laid down, I could feel my heart beating out of my chest again. Pulse was around 65, but the thump is so hard it feels like it's rattling my whole body. I have a follow-up scheduled with family doctor, but they've not been able to find anything all these years, so what do I do?
