Thank you very much.. i'm soo relieved
I would not be alarmed. The rate of your heart beats comes from the area of your heart that is beating the fastest. A normal heart beat originates in the hight right atrium. A low atrial rhythm means that your heart is beating from the lower (rather than upper) portion of your left atrium. The key question is if this rhythm is causing your symptoms because it is beating too fast or too slow. If you aren't having any symptoms and can do the things you want to do, it does not sound like an issue. If it is beating too fast, a procedure can be done to eliminate that focus to allow your heart to beat from the normal place again. If you are worried about this or have symptoms, I would see a pediatric electrophysiologist (heart rhythm specialist for people under 16-18 years old). they can help you determine if something needs done.
The heart rhythm in itself is not dangerous unless it is beating too fast. If it is beating too fast, an electrophysiologist can help you determine the best way to treat or cure the problem.
I hope this helps.
