Moderator Band Left Ventricle

I have recently been noticing my heart rate . Due to the fact that I had mild high blood pressure and started checking it at home . About 2 months ago . I also started eating better and walking a couple times a week .I don't feel any symptoms . and my heart stays in the upper 50's to 80's most days , depending on activity. My HBP is under control now . I feel tired alot of the time but nothing else . My pulse was jumping around alot a few weeks ago ( mornings would be around 100 and evenings would be low 50's ) So I had a nuclear stress test , and 3 days later an Echo .I find out the results tommorow ? But while the tech was doing the Echo and was showing me the diffrent parts of my heart , he pointed out the left and right ventricles . He showed a moderator band in my right and left ventricle . I was just concerned since he said only a small percentage of the population have these in both sides of the heart ? Is this dangerous or something you can live a long healthy life with ? I am 36 years old , so I guess this is something I was born with ? Also might this have anything to do with a slow resting heart rate in the low 50's  Thanks for any help on this question.

Well I saw my Cardio. He says everything is good with my stress test and my echo . He is so busy at his office he didn't even look over my echo until he came into the room with me. I asked him about the moderator bands found by the technician , (since he did'nt say anything to me) . He just said it was a mild variant ? That it was nothing to worry about . And sent me on my way . Should I not be worried about this ?

I have searched all over Google and on Med Help ? I did find out that it is common to have a moderator band in the right ventricle , but as far as the left ventricle I really can't find much.  I found out that the moderator band is a bundle of string like muscle that stretches across the ventricles , and is tied into the electrical part of the heart . Hopefully my Cardiologist will give me good news today .

I've never hear of the condition....and it seems strange to me a medical person doctor or any assistant would make the kind of comment you got without explaining it.  I'd complain to the doctor, that sort of "stuff" just causes unnecessary anxiety.

Perhaps someone on this Community can help, I didn't try to do a search here on MedHelp or "google" or web search on the condition, so I don't know what's available.
