Mrs Debby Mogg

Hi. The last few days I have been suffering with: I feel my heart beating fast, I start swetting and within minutes my hair and my clothes r soaking wet. I feel alot of anxiety and shake. I was at work yesterday afternoon and this happened 3 times. my boss saw me while I was having the last attack and said I was grey in colour and sat me down. I then went home. I had 2 more attacks the night before i went to bed. Have u any ideas what this could be?

You don't say how old you are and I' m assuming you are female. If you are in your 40s or somewhere there abouts it could be hot flashes.  What you described is exactly what used to happen to me.  Then you get anxious wondering what in the world is happening and it gets worse.  I would definitely go to my doctor to be checked out though and make sure it's nothing to worry about.

It could also be an anxiety attack.  Don't just write it off as one, get yourself checked up, but it is something to think about.

Hello and welcome to the AD Forum :)

Sorry that you have been having these episodes that you have.
I know it can be quite scary!

I would personally say that if this is all new to you and never had any of this before and been checked for it......I would suggest you go to either your PCP or preferrrably a Cardiologist ASAP.  It is probably nothing Life Threatening but it certainly need to be addressed and evaluated to make sure that is not the case.

If you do not have a current PCP or Cardiologist then I would certainly go to either an Express Care or the ER for evaluation.

Good Luck and Take Care,
~Tonya

Possibly a pheochromocytoma, but these are relatively rare. Can you make an appointment with an endocrinologist? It sounds like adrenal hormone imbalance. Has anything changed in your life recently that could make you anxious? Could you have been exposed to an environmental toxin?
I suggest you have some tests done asap. See your doctor.
I hope you feel better very soon!
