My heart flutters

Ok I am a healthy 22 year old college student and active but for two years my heart has on and off fluttered and for a while it hasn't done it. But for four days  it has fluttered, skipped and even goes bang at times (the best I could describe it). Sometimes i cant feel it beat then i can feel it again.I do run when the weather gets nice and when I did last year I noticed that the flutters stopped I believe. what could case this. I am never out of breath either. Does school have something to do with this?
Thanks Matt

I just came back from a run and my heart is beating strong no flutters.

pacs or pvcs usually come and go and usually are benign. If you get lightheaded or faint you will need to see a cardiologist for sure. Not all heart stuff cause breathlessness--

Sounds like pacs or pvcs, usually benign, but the only way to know for sure is to catch it on a monitor.

Yea I go up stairs and stuff I don't have a problem that's why I think it's not major. Because you hear people with heart problems are out of breath and stuff. And my family history is good no heart problems and I never had any problems in till now. I think it could be stress to but I don't feel under any stress. Thanks

Its hard to say. However, I do recall a time when running made my heart rhythm better. I noticed that at the begining of the running season I would see a couple of espisodes, but that after I began to get in shape, the episodes stopped.  I think it has something to do with the tonality of your heart.

The fact that you are never out of breath is probably due to your age. I read that exercise capacity is quite good at 22; where as in later years it is harder to predict, but generally not as good. I am over twice your age and if I slow down a bit, i am never out of breath either. It's a really good feeling.
