My little sister is having heart problems

My little sister is 18, she is 6 foot 2, and weighs about 189 lbs. Two days ago she was sitting on the couch when her left arm went numb and tingly, her face was tingly, and her heart started to beat fast and off and on, she turned pasty white, started to sweat, and couldn’t understand anything that was said to her. This lasted about 20 min, and then off and on all day. Since February this year she has had episodes of this sort, sometimes worse, sometimes better. She was taken to the ER about a month ago and they said they found nothing, but they have not seen what the rest of us have.
To put it plainly, it is terrifying, and I don’t know what to do. When the people at the hospital found out that she had no insurance and no money their attitude changed drastically and they said that the tests they had already done were sufficient.
I am training to be an EMT, and I know that this is not normal, I don’t know enough, to say what is going on but I know that what I am hearing through my stethoscope is very wrong and I want something done but I don’t know where to go.
  Thanks
     Andy

here's a pediatric cardiologist discussing sign's of Marfan's, including some that you can observe yourself:

Try and get in to see the hospital social worker and explain what is going on. Marfan's certainly came to my mind as well. I don't know what you heard through listening to your sister, if you are in training, you may not know enough yet toi make determinations. Get her into see a cardiologist and ask to make a payment plan with them. Explain exactly what is going on and that you are very concerned over the things you are seeing.

Check on the web for "social services TX" or similar.  In NJ such a search turns up the NJ Department of Human Services and it does provide for assistance for people in NJ who need medical help but can not afford it, and have no insurance.  I would think Texas would have something similar.  The federal government also has Medicaid help if one qualifies.

I believe there is a way to get the medical attention you sister needs.

2 things come to mind Marfans and vagal nerve effects. Both effect tall people. Marfans can be deadly if not treated, and the vagal nerve can made a diagnosis very difficult. Other than the emergency room I don't know where to tell you.
