Monday at school I was talking with a professor when I started feeling the flutters. So much I couldn’t stand up straight. They were concerned and the school called the emts that’s when they said I had PVCs. I declined to go to the hospital and instead went home to sleep it off. They never left and I went to the ER that night. Blood work, and X-ray, and an ekg. They said my heart was okay and gave me a Holter monitor for 24hr. I had an appointment with the heart doctor for Friday morning. Today they rescheduled because the doctor wanted to order an echocardiogram. I don’t have insurance so everything is out of pocket. I’m told I shouldn’t worry yet all these tests?
On the other side, I am completely exhausted. The contractions have winded me entirely. When I talk with someone I jump frequently like I have the hiccups and studded. I can’t even hold a conversation. It’s not painful but the amount of stress it’s causing me is draining me so much. They haven’t left yet and I just want relief and information. I have to wait til next week for the echocardiogram and heart doctor.
Is this the best course of action? Should I just X the doctor completely and pray the pvcs subside or do I have a chance if there being something else going on?
I am 30 years old and consider myself healthy, I don’t smoke, drink alcohol or coffee, or do drugs. I workout frequently and eat healthy. I know my body really well and this came out of nowhere.
Any information or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
