hi there im a pvc sufferer too, mine feel like a pause and thump/really strong heart beat, they're scary but we just gotta put up with them, beta blockers dont always work they can low your heart rate down a bit much then that brings on more pvcs as they can be a back up system too, anti arrhythmic can bring on more deadly arrhythmias and these will kill.
you should really have your bloods checked to check electrolytes and if these are low such as pottassium then this can also cause pvcs.
As for the feeling of a pvc everyone feels them differently as long as your electricity in your heart is ok and it is it cant turn into anything sinister and remember not to worry because this can bring them on too, anxiety causes mine,
I am 60 and have frequent pvc's that worry me incessantly. I know how you feel, but it sounds like your pvc's are not dangerous, just a nuisance. The only med's they like to give for pvc's are beta blockers, but they make you feel tired and if you have asthma you can't take them. The med's your doctor told you would kill you are probably antiarrythmics which can stop pvc's, but cause even worse problems with the heart. I know they are terrible to live with, but if the cardiologist told you they are not dangerous, you are probably ok. If you develop chest pain, pass out, or feel extremely dizzy, than you have a more serious problem that needs to be investigated. My problem is that my pvc's are frequent, and they didn't used to be. But the cardiologist doesn't seem to concerned, so I know what you mean. I wish you the best. Just keep an eye on them.
