PVC's after exercise

Can anyone shed some light on this? Please. What does the doctor mean when he says PVC's in the recovery phase of exercise, because I have that. But then I have PVC's almost every day and sometimes all day. According to my Doctor and the cardiologist I do not have coronary artery disease, so is this just a risk for people in that category. All I want is some answers to this question, if anyone has talked to their doctor about this, please let me know. It seems like I'm scared to exercise now, until I find out. My cardiolgist was not concerned about it when I told him that I have this. He keeps saying benign PVC's. According to the Thallium treadmill test my arteries are clean, and actually said that ratio of good to bad cholesterol was one of the best they have ever seen with my bloodwork. Anyway, I appreciate the support from this board. And if anyone has any advice for me out there, let me have it. Thanks!

I work out 3 times a week doing water aerobics.  I have had PVCs for many many years. Last year was my worst year with PVCs lasting 9 hours a day or more without a regular heartbeat.  I have seen my GP and a Cardiologist.  I love exercising in the pool and was afraid that I would have to stop or not work so hard because of these darned things.  Both doctors encouraged me to continue exercising regardless of whether or not the PVCs were occuring or not.  I have had them both before, during and after my workout and I am still alive to tell you about it.  In fact, it seems the more fit I become the less the PVCs occur.

Yes, I will get them right after I stop exercising.  Before my ablation for SVT, they were so bad right after any exertion that they took my breath away (more related to the SVT but I also had lots of PVC's).  After the ablation my PVC's initially worsened but now they are settling down.  I am beginning to not notice them so much when I start and end a work out.

Good luck.

Do you have PVC's right after you stop exercising? Or in the recovery phase of a treadmill test? My cardio wasn't too worried about this, but the doctor on this board keeps mentioning that. If you could respond it would make me feel better. My PVC's actually get better with exercise, it is only after I'm cooling down, or as they say in the recovery phase they start again. Thanks for taking the time to answer me.

I too have exercise induced PVC's.  According to my physician, in a structurally normal heart, these are not dangerous in any way.  In fact, exercise is encouraged.  I understand how scary it is but dealing with the anxiety and believing what the doctors are telling you goes a long way in helping you cope with this condition.
