Too bad they're back, and too bad you've fallen into the pulse-counting habit again. I understand it (have done it myself, oh yeah), but for those who have these things but who have been tested (and re-tested and re-tested some more)and been found to have healthy hearts, my advice is to keep the fingers off the pulse. There's no helpful info there.
The trick is finding ways to deal with the anxiety caused by awareness of PVCs.
Hi there!
Yes, it does stink! and yes...I did take my pulse alot...that nasty little habit took me about 6 months to really break back then, and now...well, it's back!
Today has been a better day...and with a little faith, maybe they will disappear into the abyss once again! Hope yours do the same!! PVC's are horrible to live with!
Thank you! It was an amazing 3 years!
To answer your question...yes, I did have a few during those years but they were so infrequent that I could go months without any that I felt at all, and then maybe have 2 to 3 one day and then they'd disappear again. I do remember a few runs the day after I won really big in Vegas, but I think it was all the excitement..lol.
These starting up again are sooo very depressing. I layed in bed the other night counting them and all I wanted to do was cry. I was having 14 a minute again and my mind went straight to the dark days when I was having thousands and thousands a day.
Today has been good so far, I had 4 or 5 big ones after I vacuuamed and now I'm just having them randomly. I do want to mention something though...when I started having them again the other day, I had drank several large glasses of diet coke.
My Cardiologist told me specifically to stay away from asparatame..a well researched and well known neuro-toxin.
Hope your having a great and PVC free (as much as possible that is) day!!
Yes, they are so frustrating and scary and annoying! lol Sorry to hear you are stuck with them too.
You sound like me. I don't feel like I am having any but then I take my pulse and there they are. They come and go all day and night. Some days are better than others. I might even miss a day or two then they are back. They are driving me crazy too!
Awe, that stinks! So sorry to hear that. I cant believe you had a 3 year break! Did you take your pulse to see if you had any during that time? Cause I feel a ton of mine but I have a ton I dont feel also. Mine are still driving me crazy. Every other beat and every few then every other basically hours and then more like only 5 per min.a few hours then back to a gazillion again. Sorry for you though, must have been amazing for 3 years!
Welcome back Celeste!
I'm sorry you have had some stressful months. I hope things are getting better.
3 years is a wonderful hiatus! You didn't feel any at all for 3 years?
Unfortunately mine are back too after a 19 month hiatus. I'm pretty sure this is stress and hormone related. I'm having good days and bad days, but the bad days are really bad with pvc's every few beats for hours.
Saw the doctor last week and have been told that I am fine. Just like you, I have to "wait it out". Try not to worry.....
