Painful PVCs felt in the neck?

Hello.  I am 55 years old and have had PVCs and PACs since I was 17.  For the past 8 years I have also had to endure fibromyalgia pain including the frontal neck, back of neck and chest wall.  Lately when I get PVCs I feel this very sharp pain at base of my neck that lasts like a second. It’s like an electrical shock and painful.  Just wondering if anyone else has this kind of pain with PVCs?  I’m thinking that’s it’s because of my fibro but I just getting so anxious and worried and need some reassurance.  Saw my doc and over the years had many many tests done but this is driving me crazy.  Any advice or reassurance would be so great! Thank you!

Definitely talk to your doctor about this.  But here is what I wonder . . .electrical shock pains in the neck are actually often a symptom of a type of headache.  https://www.webmd.com/migraines-headaches/occipital-neuralgia-symptoms-causes-treatments#1  The Occipital nerve can become inflamed and cause that.  Is there any chance that this is happening as well as your having PVC's? You can have blood vessel inflammation and get this. Could your PVC's be causing this neck sensation?  Yes, I do believe they can but would look at other things too.  And that you have fibro as well. All of that could be contributing.  I would see your doctor explaining exactly as you have done here.  Let us know what they say!
