Palips and abnormal EKG

Hi there I have an abnormal EKG.  First time in my life I've had one performed so dont know my heart history.  The doctor explained it as the electrical impulses sent via the heart muscle.  Mine had a blip or several blips.  Mentioned to me its seen in about 5% of the population.  Did not appear overly concerned and did mention worse case I can feel unsteady or perhaps pass out worst case.  Wants to follow up with me in about 6 mos.    I was not advised to slow down my normal lifestyle.

I am a lay person to heart health and do not understand the mechanics of the heart via electrical impulses and or what line you cross to having a "serious" issue.

Lastly could this be just an error, or my body temporarily did this?

Thank you again for your information based on what I gave you, I understand you are limited in what you can give me.

Dear Doctor thank you for your help.  My doctor's office called today and explained to me its a right bundle branch block.  He did not seem overly concerned.  I also have very mild MVP via echo.

What kind of info can you share with me on RBBB?  I am 39 female and can seem to carry out normal duties.  I do have some odd problems I have been dealing with for the past 2 years which include a chronic scalp rash causing hair loss and various other odd physical problems which have not lead my doctors to any answers including a full auto-immune panel

Sorry to digress - if you have a moment and can share any more info I would be forever greatful - you offer a priceless service and are so generous to take your time here.  Thanks again.

It depends on what the abnormal EKG is and if it is associated with any potential heart symptoms.  From the description it sounds like a left or right bundle branch block.  I am not sure what else I can say without seeing the EKG.
