Palpitations all day but Holter monitor results normal?!

Hi,
I have been having palpitations all day every day for some time (sometimes a couple of them in one minute), had a Holter monitor and the results came back normal with rare PVCs and even more rare PACs. The cardiologist is absolutely bored with me at this point. But I don't get it - what am I feeling all day if it is not PACs, PVCs, or any other dangerous palpitations? It feels like my heart speeds up for like 3 beats then it calms down for half a minute/minute/5 minutes and then there is a hard heart beat, then the there is a longer pause (with a pressure in my head) and then the rhythm goes back to normal. So are these fast/hard heart beats in normal sinus rhythm and that is why it is not dangerous???
Thank yoU!!!!

Have you had your thyroid checked? Maybe you are deficient in iodine, or some other mineral or vitamin? That must be so irritating! Have you tried another cardiologist? Or if you can afford one, maybe go to a Naturopathic Doctor, sometimes they can find out the problem.

what type of holter did you use?  was it an in-office 24 hour?

Rare to us and rare to doctors may be two different things.  You can get a copy of your results and see how many there actually were.  But regardless it doesn't sound like there is enough to be of concern.  Even what you describe you are feeling isn't anything that is concerning to cardilogist.  so watch your stress and stomach issues and see if that helps calm them down.
