Palps during EARLY pregnancy

Hi guys!  Long time no talk!

I think I might be in the VERY early stages of pregnancy.  I am having some of the normal symptoms, along with increased PACs.  What I want to ask is for all you mothers out there who have palpitations, did your palps increase during the very early stages of pregnancy, like within a week or two of conception or did this come later?  Just curious....

Thanks and hope everyone is well!

Well, I am not pregnant.  I am sort of disappointed but I guess it's just as well.  Guess those palps were PMS.  Thanks guys for your replies.

A big CONGRATS if indeed you're expecting!

For me, yes, one of the hallmarks of very early pregnancy was a swift increase in palpitations.  Also at 8 weeks, dramatically at 26-29 weeks and after delivery.

Keep us posted, ok?

congrats on the baby!  My pvc's increased immediately (within the first few weeks) and I had them until about 5 months, then they decided to stop.  Hang in there...

HEY there!!  So glad to see you hangin' around these parts : )

Fingers and toes are crossed that your wishes for a new baby in the house for '08 come true!

I don't remember when I started getting them during my pregnancies, but I know that at my 6 week checkups, the doctor was rolling in the EKG machine.

Keep us posted!!

Hi, I started having them badly at about 26 weeks. Think I had some before that but I never used to pay attention to them or make a mental note of it until they became frequent.
However there is a scientific paper I have on PVCs in pregnancy. Onset of palpitations was split evenly between the first, second and third trimester in the women they studied. For a third of women they started in first trimester, for another third in second trimester and for the remaining third they started in teh third trimester.

I started having them when I was 8 weeks along.  Mine did get to the point when I was put on medication to control them.
