i just started taking these yesterday.. i have to take them 4 times a day. i couldnt figure out what was wrong with me and finally found a doctor who said he thinks i have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) going for blood tests tomorrow to find out forsure, but ive realised i get random little aches in my heart area , mostly when i lay down and id ont no if this is normal or my bodys just adjusting to them?
i have a condition similiar but mine palpotates when my heart is over woi entrked i have an extra nerve on it ,they put me on propranolol for what i had i didnt have palpotations but the pill made me real tired and slugish so i got off it ,if your not feeling that give it a little time to work if it stops the palps and not feeling exhausted every day you should be good ,if you have no change call him after a few days i went through like three different meds before they got it right hope that helped
I take them, same dose. They really help preventing palpitations, especially the ones that occur with physical or mental stress. They also help slowing a rapid heartrate due to stress, and they prevent panic and anxiety. Other beta blockers lack this effect.
The aching can't be heart related if you are 18, and your echo and stress test are normal, so the beta blocker won't help you there.
