I am scheduled for a Cryoabalation however the paperwork the secretary has given me shows that I am scheduled for an RF Abalation, a procedure I have already gone through. The secretary refuses to change the paperwork. Should I be concerned?
I won't worry about it if you have already talked to your EP about what will be done. The secretary is probably more in tune with CPT codes rather than any details that takes place in the lab. A majority of AF ablation is done by RF and cryo gets similar results to RF for simpler cases. Best wishes to you for a procedure well done. Which center in Utah are you using if you don't mind revealing?
