Svt ablation

Hi all! I am a 30 year old female who had an ablation done for avnrt svt a week ago. I was just wondering how people felt after? I thought I was doing going then I went for a walk at the park and it felt like I had a flutter in my heart several different times within 30 minutes.. and now I’m exhausted and that was about 4 hours ago and it’s only 1:20pm into the day. I am very active and mainly has the crazy svt while working out (190-200)and I’m wanting to get back into the gym and be able to workout with out svt(dream come true!) but I’m so worried I won’t be able to get it back because I’m so exhausted and the flutters! Is this normal post procedure? Will it go away!? Somebody please help! My follow up is not until the 27th and it’s only the 18th today..

This guys pretty on the money.. But for an importsnt clarification..

You shouldnt be experiencing any more svt post ablation. It may he be beneficial to wear the monitor again, as you likely will at your next follow up anyways.

If the episodes are serious you can call the office and explain what youre experiencing and request to come in earlier.

Basically the same procedure as getting diagnosed in the first place.

One other thing.  I was so concerned about an episode happening, that my cardiologist, gave me the standard Bruce Protocol stress test to prove I was cured.  I managed a shade over 13 minutes before punching out drenched in sweat and panting like a dog on a hot day.  No SVT!

Its very normal to experience skips flutters, and short runs of rapid rhythm.  It happens to just about everyone and can last for months despite what physicians say.  I had "heartache" for about 2 weeks following mine.  It was like a wave building and sudsiding, and enough to make me pause and bend over in pain.  Again, normal.  I was 59 at the time, but in excellent shape.  I coach speed skating and skate in an old man's division several times a week.  I was back out doing easy laps 8 days after my ablation, and went to work missing just a Thursday, Friday and a Monday.  I did walk with a limp for about 2 weeks, and had a large orange sized hematoma which drained into thigh, making a hideous purple brown color for weeks until fading.  I'd say I was 100% in about 4 weeks.  That said, it varies widely among people, and I think its not only physical,  but mental too.  After 54 years of SVT, I wanted this, and was anxious to get that millstone off my neck.  I was very happy to have made the decision to eliminate it hopefully forever.  I'm 7 years now SVT free, and go as fast as an old man can go without any fear of an episode.  Before, you never knew; was today going to be a bad day or not, you know?  Good luck and enjoy your life now free of SVT.

I’m having bad headaches every time I have a random pac I’m guessing? Is that normal? Nothing seems to take it away either.. I feel awful.. I had to leave work early yesterday because I started getting dizzy along with a migraine

Thanks for some help! I had no more “butterfly feeling flutters” the rest of the day although I was taking it easy and pretty tired. I actually work in the hospital where I had the procedure at, I go back in the morning after a week off so we shall see how I do on my feet tomorrow.. I work 12s and am on my feet the whole time so this should be interesting...! Keeping my fingers crossed that it continues to improve and I will be back to working out with our worrying and svt free ASAP!
