Tachycardia cause

Hello,
I have had episodes of tachycardia, of unknown cause, for the past 10 years or so. I am now going through an infection with much phlegm. I am taking amoxicillin 500 mg. I have also started consuming honey, as I heard it is good for infections. However, my tachycardia episodes have become more severe. Could the honey or the antibiotic have anything to do with it? Thanks.

The infection could cause tachycardia as well as dehydration.  Stomach issues can as well as stress.  How fast is your heart beating?  Does it start and stop suddenly or does it ramp up and down.  Try drinking more water, avoid caffeine, work in the infection and tend to stomach issues and see if that helps.  I hope you feel better soon.  I am sure it will pass but if not see the doctor about it.  Take care.
