Vtack

I have had v tack for several years, I also have an ACID. I have tried various anti arrhythmics, such as amioderone, sotalol, and mexilitine.

Just started on dofedilide and it seemed to work the first couple of weeks but back into the same funky cycles of mini burst of 2-5 sec duration sometimes several in an hour.

I have had 3 ablations with limited success. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the comment but tried the amiodarone and almost died from it. Worse 3 months of my life.

I understand amioderon is the top of the strength pile.

My notes tell me:

Amiodarone

Class III
Sotalol (trade names Betapace)
TIKOSYN® (Dofetilide Capsules)

This note is a couple of years old and says Tikoyn (may be that babygirlyoyo is talking about, or I have the wrong spelling, or there is something new) is not real new.

The list above is in order of strength/risk, with Amiodarone being at the top.

I understand VTach is very serious, is another ablation a possibility?

I have no answers for you but I am in the same boat as you are...but I take amiodarone 400mg a day and it seems to work. It is the only one that works for me. Have you heard of a new medicine called tikosen? It didn't work for me but it is new and it might work for you. I hope this little bit of help...hang in there.
