Hi everyone with PVC. I found this forum many years ago and, when I was diagnosed with PVC's. 6 years ago as I was lying in bed I felt a large thump for the first time confused not knowing i focused on my heart and soon realized that something was not right. Needless to say, the next day I went to my Dr. and it's been a whirl wind of a time. I was referred to a Cardiologist he did the whole - Holter monitor, event monitor, stress test, eco cardiogram, stress test, and other test, needless to say I was exhausted. The testing process took a few weeks, he them told me that I had PVC's but that I was lucky because they were benign. He told me that to get rid of them I had to go on medication, Beta Blockers and when that didn't work Channel blockers, well that didn't work either. He then suggested I live with the PVC after all they can go away as quickly as they came. Fast forward 5 years they were still there, 5 long miserable years that i though i was going to die of a cardiac arrest, new symptoms started to develop shoulder numbness and soon after my pinkie on my left arm started to go numb from time to time. Went back to a different Cardiologist and had the same test done, with the same conversation at the end. 6 years after my first event, I had enough I started researching and trying everything that I found on line. Im not going to kid around I didn't have a best diet, so I started dieting. Instead of going down the line of the hundreds of combinations I tried and failed. I'll tell you what worked, Sugar! That's it. I stopped drinking Sodas including Diets on December 31st 2016 at 11:45PM, On Jan 5 I gave up Sugar (replaced it with Stevia). And for 5 weeks I haven’t had a single PVC. I used to have one every 40-60 beats. I really want to share this with everyone that suffers from PVC's I know no two bodies are the same and what worked for me might not work for everyone, but what do you have to lose? give it a try, I'll keep you all posted on my progress. I hope this helps someone.
