When do you stop a pacemaker
My mother is on hospice with only a short time left. She have a pacemaker with AV node ablation. When do they stop her pacemaker?
They don't stop your mum's pacemaker unless it has a built in defib. Even then my father in law became very ill and passed away last year and even though he had a pacemaker and defib he just shut his eyes and died peacefully, surrounded by family.
