Hi,
Any time I had an EKG/ECG done the WPW wave was visible. It shouldn't come and go AFAIK, but I'm not a doctor so don't take my word.
If for some strange reason it does for you and you do have WPW, be thankful that it's not something a lot worse. WPW is very treatable and has a very low chance of sudden death.
Take care!
WPW should show up on your ECGs. You may not always see delta waves but you will have a short PR interval and a slightly widened QRS.
I can only go by my experience of ecgs as each time the various drs looked at it they could see the extra pathway. If you get told it is wpw don't worry. I had an ablation the other day and it was a success. Obviously will have a check up in 3 months to make sure it has gone. But what i'm getting at is wpw can be cured. It has a 95% cure rate through the ablation. So just stay calm and remember it may even be just something like etopic beats or nothing to worry about.
No I'm waiting to wear a holter monitor my gp said on 1 ecg showed slight abnormality so they was checking for junctional tachy but I'm so scared they gonna find wpw just terrified so after 7 ecgs and probably more thru out my life would it of shown up do u think
Going from my experience, everytime I had an ecg the wpw delta wave showed up on the ecg. did your dr say you had wpw?
