Surgery went well -- Now is afib

Just realized I had not posted that my surgery was successful.  I am, however, now in afib and a blood clot is keeping me from being cardioverted.  They did a TEE and discovered the blood clot.  I have to wait 30 days, they will repeat TEE and see if the clot is gone.  If it is, they can cardiovert me then.  In the meantime, I am on a TON of drugs that are keeping my heart rate down in the 80's when resting, 90's or so when I'm moving around (which I'm not doing a lot of).  Thanks all of you for your concerns, prayers, and good wishes.  I am learning patience (not my long suit).

Thanks for the update.  I am super glad to hear at least the operation went well. That is a relief.  I hope you can get yourself cardioverted as soon as possible.  Take care and feel better soon.  (((HUGS)))
