blood pressure reading

Early my b/p was 138/93 and pulse 70 I took 120mg of Inderal. Took a nap woke up b/p was 147/83 and pulse was 77. I took a second Inderal. My headache is still lingering but my b/p is now 127/82 and pulse 67. Should I really be checked out

Honestly those numbers aren't bad at all. Obviously you want to keep it lower in the long run, but I don't think you need to be checked out immediately. Definitely talk to your doctor about your BP mess though and don't worry because it'll make your BP higher .

I would discuss your symptoms with your prescribing doctor.  Your numbers don't seem terribly out of line but I am not sure what target numbers your doctor wants you to be at which can be based on age and severity of your high bp issues without meds.  You may need a different type of bp med or a higher dosage but consult with your doctor as that isn't advice anyone online can really give you.  You can also post your question in the Heart Disease section for more input from others in regard to BP.  This area is mostly related to rhythm issues.  Take care.
