thanks for the comment and yes..the surgery is not related to the heart. and the ekg used was the more extensive one with pick ups on the chest area and on both legs.so...it's not something that i should be worried about??
Not an expert, so I am surprised that an EKG reading could say anything about a left atrium. Your data says normal sinus rhythm, so I conclude you atrium isn't exhibiting fibrillation or flutter.
The HR of 97 is a bit high if it is at rest..maybe you are one of those who gets excited in the doctor's office and has a high HR and BP, but only then.
I take it the surgery is not related to you heart, and was taken as a precautionary pre-admission test. Was the EKG a simple three pick-up measurement, or was it the more extensive that uses at least 5 pick-ups on the chest area and a couple on one or both legs (I don't remember the exact count on pick-ups, but there is a lot more than three).
