What I meant by not beleiving her is that they don't belive her that a wrong movement sets it up. She turns around in the bed or gets up in the morning and that's enough to set it off.
She has a compressed vertabre in two places in her back and when that hurts even when she tries to find a better position sets it off.
I have had a total of 4 electrocardioversions, and I have been "branded" as no longer a candidate for that procedure. Thirty-three is very unusual in my limited experience. But, I can say I did get some relief from AFib in the beginning, about 18 months per electrocardioversion.
My symptoms do not include the uncontrolled high HR. I take beta blockers and calcium channel blockers and that combination keeps my HR below 100 even when standing. More strenuous activity will be me up to the 140 range, where I slow down.
I'm not sure what you are saying about not believing, are you saying the doctors don't believe her HR gets to 170 with no physical activity? Then ask them for a recorder so that they can read the facts off of that device.
