Did you reach your target heart rate? I only walked twelve minutes before my stress test was stopped. But I reached my target heart rate. I felt extremely exhausted until my pvcs surpressed at a heart rate of 150 and then I felt GREAT until I stopped and as my heart rate went down then the pvcs started again. Your doctor should have explained anything that may have been concerning during the stress test.
do you exercise daily? I've had three tests. In each case the doc stopped before 8 minutes. The written reports said this was becasue I was tired. No way. I could have gone on easily. But the conclusion said 'exellent tolerance for exercise'
I'm 85. Figure that out.
Stress tests are standardized so most likely you were administered the same test as all of have had, The Bruce Protocol Stress Test. If that is the case, 10 minutes isn't too bad, but if you made it to 15 minutes, it would be perfectly normal to be panting and sweating profusely..... And most likely you'd be a world class athlete.
