how are we supposed to make sense of a stress test?

Hey guys. Got an update and some questions. I have been trying not to come here too much as I have been working on chilling out about this and just waiting for completion of tests. Please forgive typos. I'm using my phone. Anyway I still have one week left on the event monitor but I guess its going ok. They said if I have any events of concern I will get a call with instructions. No calls!
I completed my nuc stress test last week. I tolerated it well considering my h.r was 190 for most of the test. No chest pain. No shortness of breath. And my heaet didn't get all funky which it does sometimes when I exercise. The problem I am having is with the results. I was supposed to see the card when I was finished but he was called away to an emergency so they mailed me a report. How does a person make sense of it though? I assume if there were any major concerns it would indicate that right? I find nothing alarming in what I do understand of it. But all the percentages and stuff is totally foreign to me.  I assume once I get the event monitor off I will get a follow up with the card and am able to discuss this all?

It is reasonable to assume if something serious was found wrong you'd get a call.  That said, I have an experience of nuclear stress giving false positive on blockage.  I have never had any blockage as measured by the invasive angiogram.

I always ask for a printout of test results and muss over them, and sometimes call my doctor to discuss.  I have never caught an error or omission - but that is really the doctor's responsibility, I am not qualified to do more than ask questions.

Yep, but be proactive.  The card is busy and scheduling people are notoriously bad for missing stuff.  You might as well call today for your appointment...
