psvt or anxiety ??

i was suffering with anxxiety from 3 months before and then i had slight chest pain for 2 days and i decided to visit my doctor for check up.I am a medical student too.  i was afraid going for a check up whether i will be diagnosed some heart disease. and the dr advised me to do an ecg, which made me fear my heart rate was increasing gradually and it went up upto 173 in ecg recordings..and after the ecg was done it gradually went on slowing down..and dr said it was psvt..was it my anxiety or psvt? do i have future risk of psvt now?

.... I wanted to add that SVT is caused by an accessory comduction pathway for your hearts electrical system.  The nature of this accessory conduction causes the sudden jump in your heart rate as opposed,to a gradual increase.  It very possible that it could be some other form of tachycardia, but not SVT.

There is one unmistakable symptom of SVT aka. PSVT.  It starts and stops abruptly.  It doesn't slowly get faster or slowly slow down.  It takes off in one beat and slows down the same way.  In my untrained opinion, if your symptoms don't exhibit this behavior, you don't have SVT.
