Good on them being less
I have not had any in 5 weeks, glad they gave me a break, but when they come back they so scary
I don't think my meds really work on them, I just get blessed when they go away for a while,
well, they have gone down, but my heart seems to be more sensitive to the drug. I take 25 mg around 7 a.m. and I can feel it wear off around 1-2 p.m. then the second 25 mg at 7 p.m. and I don't feel that wear off because im asleep. But, around 1-2 p.m., my heart rate will go up and I feel the pre-pvc nervous feeling, then one or two will happen.
Really, is it causing more or helping, did he up it
dc put me on MORE atenolol.
I see it's your pop, you should call your cardio dr before than like today , tell them what's going on, I know my cardio dr would change me , have you tried that
Wow, I took that med 25 mg and they did help mine but the med took my bp down way to low and I didn't like that.
Maybe something in med don't agree with you, have you read the paper it comes with on side effects,
So sorry your going threw that I hope shorty after they go away for you.
At least you have a trigger point of why they worse I can't figure mine out.
the oddest thing is that they =start within 15-20 minutes AFTER taking the atenolol, but not before. I can time it now. I asked my pcp to change me to another beta blocker, and he would not. I have a weeks worth of appointments with my cardiologist next week (stress test, echo, holter & consult) but honestly, he should have taken me off of the atenolol, but he told me today to take more of a dose. So, I took one and a half (37.5mgs) and they were worse. the guy told me that it was impossible that I was having pvc's on atenolol. I told him that he was NOT feeling what I am and he couldn't possibly know what was happening. the nurse at the cardiologist yesterday finally caught one of my pvc's on the ekg and said, "caught one". she did not act surprised. I told her that I have thirty to forty starting 15-20 minutes after taking the atenolol, and she said she would tell the doctor because it sounded weird. I'll be spending plenty of time next week with him (four days), so we'll have plenty of time to discuss.
hi sorry your going threw this. all I can say is I am 54 and have had pacs since I was 19 been on meds for them, but none has ever stoped them, they help to slow them down, make them not as bad but I still get them and now get them worse than ever, they last for hours now and more of them , like everyother beat. so if you find a med that will stop them plz let me know. Good luck, keep in touch.
