Rub ice cubes on your chest or a very cold wash cloth. It might to breathe through
a paperbag like if you were having a panic attack. Not saying it's a panic attack
just saying treat it like one. Whether it's your heart or an adrenal problem,
the ice/cold wash cloth on the chest will help. Hold it there. It's hard to say if
you just naturally have a fast heart rate or something that just started. Can't
really help w/ any more suggestions without knowing if you've lived w/ this or
it just started. Could be lots of things, tacyachardia, hypoglycemic attacks,
adrenal tumor (they cause adrenalin rushes) , really should have it checked
out soon. There's something at the health food store you can get , it's
called "Rescue Remedy" .. instead of asking doc for RX for something for
anxiety, maybe Rescue Remedy will help. (It's drops you put under your tongue
for people who get panicky when flying) Once again, not implying
you're having panic attacks, just giving suggestions to help w/ the symptoms until you get to a cardiologist.
If you go on the trip , do the ice thing or cold wash cloth, and remember
to breathe!
Good luck!
hi
ah i think it would all depend on what causes the rapid hr in the first place as there can be quite a few reasons for sudden hr increase.
are u on any meds for this -if u see a cardiologist.
